The USACE, New York District, in partnership with New Jersey DEP, will host two public information meetings on January 11th and 12th, 2017 to discuss the Draft Integrated Feasibility Report (DIFR) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Rahway River Flood Risk Management Study.

The 45-day public comment period for the DIFR and EIS was initiated on December 9, 2016 and will conclude on January 23, 2017.

All written comments, including contact information, will be made a part of the administrative record, available to the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

This DIFR and EIS has been prepared to document the formulation and evaluation of plans to address flooding problems in the Rahway River Basin and the significance of potential environmental impacts of the Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) recommended in the report.

Both meetings, set to take place in Cranford and Rahway N.J., are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will follow the agenda below:
