The Environment Agency will hold several meetings in January on a potential future scheme that should reduce the risk of flooding from Marton West Beck.
In its latest release, EA invited Middlesbrough residents to flood scheme drop-ins, asking for their views on a potential future flood scheme.
Representatives from the Environment Agency, Northumbrian Water and Middlesbrough Council will be available to speak to residents during drop-ins this month.
Environment Agency Project Manager Ted Thomas said: “ We want to know more about flooding in the area and the previous experiences of residents so we can fully understand the flood risk.”
“ We also want to hear the community’s thoughts on potential flood defense improvements in the area. I’d urge people to come along to the drop-ins so we can gather as much information as possible .”
