The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has just released an update on the Temasek Fairway dredging operations, located west of Jurong Island.

According to the MPA notice, dredging work in these areas will be undertaken from 16 January to 15 March 2017.

High spot dredging will be carried out by a dredger, supported by flat top barges and pusher tugs.

The dredger will be held in position by spuds within the working area.

A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other crafts of the working area, the MPA announcement said.
