The acting CEO of the Ukrainian Seaports Authority (USPA), Raivis Veсkagans, visited the Port of Yuzhny on January 22, 2017.

During the visit, the CEO met with the port authorities and toured the water areas and production complexes of the state enterprise ‘Yuzhny Commercial Seaport’.

Mr Veckagans also visited the area of the future grain complex owned by ‘MV Cargo’ company, which is currently under construction in the rear of the berth No 25.

“The CEO assured investors that the terminal construction project in cooperation with the largest American company Cargill is a priority one and call upon investors to demonstrate the readiness of Ukrainian harbors for cooperation in joint projects,” USPA said in its release.

Given the importance of compliance with the terms of realization of investment projects, Mr Veckagans stressed that dredging projects are definitely to be implemented in strict compliance with the full transparency of tender conditions.
