The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) said that their International Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation will take place from March 26-30th 2017 in Abu Dhabi.

The seminar is aimed at future decision makers, port and harbor authorities, off-shore companies and other organisations that have to execute dredging projects.

This five-day course strives to provide an understanding through lectures by experts in the field and workshops, partly conducted on-site in order to give the “students” hands-on experience.

For the seminar, each participant will receive a set of comprehensive proceedings with an extensive reference list of relevant literature and, at the end of the week, a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of the completion of the coursework.

The seminar starts Sunday, March 26th at 8:45 hrs and ends Thursday, March 30th at 17:30 hrs.

IADC, often in co-operation with local technical universities, has been providing a week-long Seminars especially developed for professionals in dredging-related industries since 1993.

An important feature of such seminars is a trip to visit a dredging project being executed in the given geographical area. This gives participants the opportunity to see dredging equipment in action and to gain a better feeling of the extent of a dredging activity.
