The Port Arthur is ready to hold mandatory pre-bid conference for the port’s Berth 5 Expansion Project.

The conference will take place on Wednesday, May 3rd 2017 (beginning at 10:00 a.m.) at the Port Arthur International Seafarers’ Center.

According to the port, the conference is organized to discuss various aspects of the Berth 5 Expansion Project, including furnishing of all materials, equipment, tools, labor, supervision, services, etc.

In addition, all operations in connection with the construction of wharf deck, new bulkhead wall, existing bulkhead wall improvements, anchor wall, bulkhead return wall, shoreline stabilization, dredging, filling of the Grannis Ditch, as well as all other work associated with this extension project will be discussed at the conference.

The deadline to submit bids for the Port Arthur Berth 5 Expansion Project is May 24, 2017.
