The Port of Los Angeles and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Report (EIS/EIR) for the Everport Container Terminal Improvements Project.

The port will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed project on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, 6 p.m., at the Port of Los Angeles Administration Building.

The proposed project is aimed to improve and expand the existing Everport Container Terminal, currently in operation at Berths 226-236 on Terminal Island within the LA Port.

According to the Corps, the public comment/review period runs from April 20, 2017 through June 5, 2017.
