Dredging vessel “Akhtubinsk” with a deadweight of 415 tons, length of 74 meters and width of 13 meters, is being repaired at the “Zigh” Ship repair yard in Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to the company, a number of repairs are being carried out including overhaul of the main engine and fuel devices, cooling pumps, water cooler, pipe compressors, auxiliary engines, etc.

The ground pump of the floating device is also being repaired, along with the ship’s crane, the dredging milling cutter, the pipeline systems, electrical panels, generators and other equipment that was already adjusted.

In addition, partial painting of the underwater and above-water part of the vessel’s hull is completed. The “Zigh” Ship repair yard is also repairing the MZ 152, which provides towing and supply services to the “Akhtubinsk” vessel.

The company is planning to complete the repairs on the vessel in the next couple of weeks.
