The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, has released the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Port of Gulfport Expansion Project (PGEP) for 30-day public and agency review.

The FEIS presents the results of the USACE’s analysis of the environmental effects of the proposed project.

If approved, the USACE determined that the PGEP would impact the waters of the United States in the following ways:

The FEIS is expected to be published in the Federal Register on June 9. The 30-day public and agency review will follow.
