After more than 20 years in Capelle aan den IJssel, Vuyk Engineering will relocate its office to new state-of-the-art premises on 23 June, reports Royal IHC.

The new headquarters will be at Lichtenauerlaan 2 in Rotterdam.

According to IHC, the new office will provide a stimulating and creative working environment for the employees and the fresh interior design also complements Vuyk new-look corporate identity.

Vuyk Engineering – a Royal IHC subsidiary – is a design, consultancy and engineering services provider for the marine and offshore industries, specializing in ship design, equipment design and operational engineering for the dredging, subsea, offshore, renewables and heavy lift market sectors.

The company recently assisted in the development of concept and basic design for the 164 meters long self-propelled cutter suction dredger (CSD) SPARTACUS, working in close cooperation with DEME and IHC.

CSD SPARTACUS will be the world’s first LNG-powered cutter suction dredger with the delivery set for summer of 2019.
