Richmond Dredging Deal for Curtin Maritime

Curtin Maritime, a Long Beach based maritime services contractor, has won a $7.5 million contract for maintenance dredging of the Richmond Inner Harbor Channel.

Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received, according to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) latest announcement.

Work will be performed in Richmond, CA, with an estimated completion date of December 21, 2017, DoD said.

All dredging material transportation and material placement will be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, is the contracting activity.
