Senok Signs Kaashidhoo and Fonadhoo Contract

Senok Trade Combine (Pvt) Ltd has won a contract for the Kaafu atoll Kaashidhoo sea wall project and the Laamu atoll Fonadhoo harbor development, the Maldives’ Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure said in its latest announcement.

At a special ceremony held at the Housing Ministry yesterday, the two agreements were signed by the Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, and the Operations Manager of Senok, Mahesh Thenuwara.

The Kaafu atoll Kaashidhoo project, set to be completed in 338 days, includes a 1.200 meter new sea wall, according to the ministry.

The Fonadhoo Harbor part of the contract, worth around $1 million, will involve a 166 meter long harbor, along with a concrete ramp.

Under the agreement, this project is scheduled to be completed in 380 days.
