The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) has just released the latest edition of its Terra et Aqua magazine.

According to IADC, Terra et Aqua’s third edition of 2017 spotlights four unsinkable issues facing today’s dredging industry: contaminated site remediation, sediment treatment, port channel optimisation and workplace safety.

Whether engaged in the activities of environmental entities or port authorities, professionals confront these challenges daily.

In focus in the September issue, a polluted harbor’s comeback by extracting three decades of toxic build-up, polymers boost treatment efforts by using aggregates to upgrade sediment quality, ports prepare for mega-vessels with a new software to assess required channel depth and an award aims to highlight industry initiatives and innovations increasing safety awareness.

All this and much more can be found in the new Terra et Aqua September 2017 edition.
