Richmond Department of Public Utilities, Parks and Recreation said in their latest announcement that the Forest Hill Park dredging program is set to start in the following days.

The anticipated start date for the project is December 18, 2017 and completion is scheduled for January 26, 2018, the department stated.

This cleanup scheme, to be conducted by Harbor Dredge & Dock, will include maintenance dredging of the Forest Hill Park forebays in the lower areas of the Forest Hill Park lake.

Harbor Dredge, a North Chesterfield based company, is full service general contractor specializing in civil, marine and dredging projects for government, commercial and private sectors.

‘Road Closed’ and ‘Do Not Enter’ signs will be posted in impacted areas where the contractor is working, the department announced.
