The Ukrainian company NIBULON has taken part in an International Conference “Innovation in Agrofood and Logistics” in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The event was held last week with the assistance of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
According to the company, the goal of the event was the development of Ukrainian-Dutch cooperation.
NIBULON’s presentation about the way the image of the country’s logistics can be changed by the example of one company attracted special attention of the participants. Many were impressed by the company´s scale and impressive vision of logistics development in Ukraine, by modern and environmental approach to use inland waterways, techniques and state-of-the-art equipment.
The participants learned with interest about capabilities of the unique MYKOLAIVETS self-propelled dredger, which successfully performed experimental work on deepening of rocky bottom at one of the rapids of the Dnipro River in November.
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine has been supporting Ukrainian business for many years. In October 2016, visiting NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard and the company’s transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv, Kees Klompenhouwer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine, noted that the Netherlands would support NIBULON and help it to solve the problems with the development of inland waterways in Ukraine.
