Aberdeen Harbor Board and Dragados UK, the principal contractor for the Aberdeen Harbor Expansion Project, have announced the opening of the Harbor Expansion Visitor Center.
The Center will afford schools, universities, professional and community groups, as well as the general public all over the North East of Scotland, the opportunity to gain insight into the construction project.
The project Visitor Center, to remain open throughout the duration of the works, contains information about the history of Aberdeen Harbor, the different construction activities carried out as part of this development, the environmental protection measures being deployed, and some of the history of the local area.
Located in Walker Park, by Girdle Ness Lighthouse, the Visitor Center is open by appointment Monday to Friday, and 10am-3pm on Saturdays.
