International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) Secretary General, Rene Kolman, will introduce the Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure guidebook at the congress ‘Hydraulic Engineering Structures of Water Transport’, taking place in Moscow on February 7-8, 2018.

Published by the Central Dredging Association (CEDA) and IADC, the new guidebook is written by a team of expert authors representing international institutes, dredging contractors, consultants and project owners. In the works for nearly five years, Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure will be available in May 2018.

Containing contributions from leading specialists in the field, the book will serve as an authoritative guide to delivering dredging projects that enhance the natural and socio-economic systems.

Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure will be an invaluable resource for those responsible for delivering projects with longevity which need to do more than just the basics. Project owners, regulators, consultants, designers and contractors looking for an up-to-date reference should find it to be a useful tool.

IADC is a Forum Partner of the Congress which includes the 5th International Dredging Forum and the 1st Technical Conference ‘Modern Solutions for Hydraulic Engineering’.

A major part of Russia’s economy is driven by infrastructure development such as the construction of port facilities and hydraulic engineering structures. Therefore the two-day program focuses on modern technologies for dredging and hydrotechnical works.

Speakers and delegates will also discuss international projects and the specifics of dredging works as well as the construction of specialized fleet and equipment.
