The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk is inviting people living in Hunstanton to have their say on a new coastal management plan for the resort.
According to the official announcement, a Coastal Management Plan (CMP) is a plan for managing a beach at a local level for the purposes of Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management, and the borough council, along with stakeholder groups and local residents, will be preparing one between now and June 2018.

The borough council is funding £20,000 of the budget needed for the CMP, and the remaining £60,000 will come from Government funding known as the Regional Flood & Coastal Committee (RFCC) Local Levy.
The consultation events will be drop-in sessions at Hunstanton Town Hall on Tuesday, 27 February, and Monday, 9 April, from 2-5pm.
