FSUE Rosmorport has just received state environmental approval for the documentation regarding the maintenance dredging of Kavkaz and Taman ports, reported the company.

“ The project documentation has been acknowledged to comply with environmental requirements set forth by environmental laws and regulations ,” Rosmorport said on its website.

The maintenance dredging project at Kavkaz seaport in 2017-2027 includes excavation of 196,150 cbm per year in order to maintain design depth in the port and the Azov-Black Sea canal.

The maintenance dredging Taman seaport in 2017-2027 calls for excavation of 114,000 cbm per year from the approach canal of Taman oil terminal and Taman LPG base as well as in the open water area of Taman port’s Berth No 5, 6.
