The U.S. House of Representatives said in their latest release that the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment will meet this week to receive testimony from the United States Army Corps of Engineers on Reports to Congress on Future Water Resources Development, and on Chief’s Reports.

Congressional review of these reports, along with an explanation of the process by which the Corps develops projects and activities, is a necessary step in the development of a Water Resources Development Act, which the Committee will consider later this year.

The hearing of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, chaired by U.S. Rep. Garret Graves (R-LA), is entitled “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: Water Resources Projects and Policy” and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
