The President of the Maldives, Abdulla Yaameen Abdul Gayyoom, marked the completion of HA. Hoarafushi Shore Protection Project today.
According to the latest Maldives Transport and Contracting Company’s announcement, main components of this capital development project included dredging of 16.360m³ of material, construction of 880 meters of revetment and a significant amount of sea outfall protection works.
Assigned by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the project was completed within 180 days.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company CEO, Mr. Ibrahim Ziyath, Members of Parliament and other senior government and company officials attended the ceremony.
