The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) is about to organize a safety webinar on “Vehicle Movements”.
This is IADC’s second safety webinar and will cover topics related to the safety within land reclamation and civil and marine works.
The webinar – taking place on 11 October 2018 – will be presented by Mr Dries de Paepe and Mr Kristof Van Gysel from Jan De Nul. Experts in the subject, the speakers will provide insights on how operational control is obtained when dealing with heavy machinery.
Land Reclamation operations involve risks related to heavy machinery. These operations require thorough planning in order to control the involved risks as they often involve many hidden and obvious dangers with little room for errors, and potentially severe consequences.
As such, operational control for vehicle movements is of paramount importance when dealing with heavy machinery.
