Ocean City Mayor, Jay Gillian, has announced a rough timeline for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’s beach replenishment project that affects Ocean City, NJ.
Three Jersey Shore towns – Strathmere, Sea Isle City and Ocean City – are part of the $32.5 million contract, awarded to Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company of Oak Brook, Illinois.

According to Gillian, two blocks of beach at a time will be closed as the project moves from north to south.
