VolkerStevin wins three CCS National Site Awards

VolkerStevin recently won three CCS National Site Awards from the Considerate Constructors Scheme a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded to raise standards in the construction industry.

“A huge congratulations go out to the teams at the Mytholmroyd flood alleviation scheme, Fairhaven to Church Scar coastal protection scheme and Hornsea Two Offshore windfarm, who have won the awards,” the company commented.

For their work on the Fairhaven scheme, VBA won Silver CCS 2020 National Site Award. There the project team demonstrated a fantastic level of consideration towards the public, the workforce and the environment, through adhering to the scheme’s code of considerate practice.

The Mytholmroyd scheme won the CCS Gold Award for the incredible standards upheld at the site. The project was praised for showcasing an exceptional approach to considerate practices through fantastic external appearances, and work with the local community, as well as the teams’ exemplary commitments shown in respect to the environment, safety and the workforce.

The CCS 2020 National Site Award winners were selected from the top performing registered sites, or phases, completed on or before 31 December 2019.
