Keystone dredging starts next week

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers will begin dredging activities next week at the Keystone ferry landing, Washington State Parks reports.

Dredging of the harbor will occur overnight, while the transport of dredged material to the shoreline of the dive park will occur during daylight hours.

However, conducting this work requires a temporary closure of the dive park.

This project will also require a closure of a portion of the boat ramp parking lot and will result in restricted access to/from the boat ramp.

Also, the boat ramp will remain open for public use but will require entry through an access gate that is monitored by the contractor.

According to the Parks, dredging is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 28th.
