Jan De Nul has just released this amazing photo of their trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Taccola, taken during her latest job in Cork, Ireland.

Currently, the TSHD is carrying out prevision work in narrow berths and areas in Cork Harbor.

Limited maneuvering space in order to keep the port at depths makes the project quite challenging, said Jan De Nul.

Dredging is required to maintain the required depth for commercial and other vessels navigating the harbor waters.

Finally, it is expected that dredging will be completed by mid-October.
