Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and the Maldives’ Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) today signed an agreement towards implementation of the Reclamation and Harbor Development Project at Lh. Felivaru.
MTCC CEO, Adam Azim, signed the contract on behalf of the company and Ms. Fathimath Shaana Farooq, Director General at the Ministry, put her signature on behalf of MNPHI.
Scope of the project includes:
dredging and reclamation operations of 179,780.40cbm;
construction of a 218.9m rock boulder breakwater;
a 574.6m sheet pile;
a 264.8m rock boulder revetment;
installation of 2,466 sqm pavement.
The project is estimated to be completed within 365 days.
