MGN Civil Pty Ltd has successfully wrapped up their first project in 2021.

The Queensland based company was engaged by North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) to stabilize a failing section of the western revetment area within Mackay Harbor.

20,000t of various classes of rock were used to complete the project.

The large tidal range in Mackay meant that careful staging of the rock placement was necessary to ensure productivity was maintained.

According to MGN, the project team managed the tides well which resulted in the project being completed ahead of time.
