New Chief Operating Officer at Callan Marine

Callan Marine has announced the hiring of Greg L. Harner as the new company Chief Operating Officer of the Marine Construction Division.

A 36-year veteran of the construction and maritime industry, Harner brings experience in infrastructure development for deep-water seaports, port security, resort developments, marine terminals, cruise terminal facilities, and commercial building projects within the U.S. and Caribbean, the company said in their official announcement.

“We are very excited to welcome Greg, his wife Marianne, and their three children to our work family,” stated Maxie McGuire , President of Callan Marine.

“I have known Greg for more than 20 years, having worked together as young project managers, and knew when we launched our latest growth initiative that I wanted him on the team. We were fortunate enough to attract him and his extensive leadership and management talents, marine construction skills, and commitment to our vision and mission. With Callan Marine’s current leadership team, there is no limit to the great things that are ahead.”

Callan Marine is a Texas-based, family-owned dredging business founded in 2009. They perform dredging projects for both private and public clients by providing services to restore berthing depths for ship docks, navigation channels, or otherwise facilitate transportation in the nation’s waterways.
