Rohde Nielsen A/S has just released this beautiful photo of an ongoing maintenance dredging project in Figueira da Foz, Portugal.
Since 2014, Rohde Nielsen A/S has performed several maintenance dredging campaigns in the port, winning three consecutive contracts in a row.
Recently, the company was awarded another maintenance dredging contract from the APFF-Administração do Porto da Figueira da Foz, SA that will be executed over the next three years.
Extending from September 2020 to March 2023 Rohde Nielsen will perform this campaign with a trailer suction hopper dredger (TSHD) and grab dredger.
The quantity expected to be dredged during this 30-month-long contract will total approximately 860,000 m3.
