Rohde Nielsen A/S has just released this amazing photo of the hopper dredger Thor R, taken during their recently completed project in Germany.

During October and November 2020, Rohde Nielsen A/S performed a maintenance dredging project in the 7-kilometre-long entrance channel to Ladebow.

The works were split in two parts.

The inner part of the channel contained silt that had to be pumped into a reclamation field in the Port of Ladebow.

The outer part contained fine sand and was dumped approximately 35 kilometers from the dredging area.

Rohde Nielsen A/S’ hopper dredger Thor R performed the works.
