Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the K. Guraidhoo land reclamation and shore protection project.
Under this capital development program, MTCC reclaimed 15 hectors of new land by dredging a 644,000 square meter area in the island’s lagoon. They also built a boulder revetment in a 1,200-meter area.
The work, awarded on August 27, 2019, was officially completed on September 27, said MTCC.
The total value of this work is MVR 85.04 million ($5.5 million).
