Dinish Wharf Project in Castletownbere is now in full swing, Sorensen Civil Engineering reports.
The piling of the eastern breakwater is nearing completion with the last sheet pile arc now well underway.
According to Sorensen, the western breakwater embankment and finished slab within the cell are now complete.
Dredging of the rock in both the berth pocket and navigation channel has recently commenced from the floating plant and the installation of precast beams for the quay extension to facilitate precast deck slabs is ongoing.
