Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is mobilizing its equipment in preparation for the Baarah Channel maintenance dredging project.

The value of the contract is MVR 12.17 million ($788.000), said MTCC.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 120 days.
The agreement between MTCC and the Maldives’ Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure was signed in April 2021.
