The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, has awarded a $115 million contract to Ames Construction, Inc., of Burnsville, Minnesota, to construct the Red River Control Structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, or FM Area Diversion.
The contract for the Red River structure is the fifth construction contract to be awarded by the federal government for the Fargo-Moorhead diversion project.
