Build of yet another Audex dredger is well underway at the Chesterfield factory, Atlantic Pumps said.
The package now includes the welfare and control cabin for operator comfort and real time monitoring of all functions.
“Our small dredgers are ideal for quarry use and can be operated in shallow waters. They can be used to mount pumps and dredging equipment and are also remote-controlled, which ensures the safety of the operator,” the company said.
“Furthermore, they can be transported and assembled more easily than larger dredgers which in turn provides the site with savings both in terms of time and start-up costs.”
Used in Europe in sites such as ports, quarries and mines, these small, powerful dredgers can be used to mount pumps and dredging equipment and can be operated in shallow waters.
The dredgers are also remote controlled which ensures the operators’ safety should they be working in the presence of acidic or corrosive substances.
Audex dredgers can also be transported and assembled more easily than larger dredges which in turn provides the owner with savings both in terms of time and start-up costs.
