JBPHH dredge contract for CAPE Environmental

CAPE Environmental Management Inc., from Honolulu, Hawaii, has won a $18.6 million contract to implement supplemental dredging of soft sediment removal at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii.

The work to be performed provides for dredging, enhanced natural recovery, monitored natural recovery, and treatment with activated carbon amendment material of Pearl Harbor sediment.

Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by November 2023, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) said in its latest announcement.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
