Oceanside Harbor dredging program nears end

Manson Construction met the contract amount of 245,000 cubic yards of sand as of Friday night, May 13, according to the latest Oceanside Harbor Dredge Update. Oceanside Harbor dredging program nears end

Manson Construction met the contract amount of 245,000 cubic yards of sand as of Friday night, May 13, according to the latest Oceanside Harbor Dredge Update.

They continued to dredge until Saturday 2:30pm, the official statement said.

The final dredged amount will be determined at a later date.

The HR Morris dredge vessel departed the Harbor on Sunday, May 15 at 10am.

No land demobilization will take place on Sunday. Today, pipeline south of the City pier and under the pier will be removed.

Tuesday, pipeline by North Coast Village and at the mouth of the San Luis Rey will be removed.

On Wednesday, pipeline between NCV and the City pier will also be removed. Heavy equipment will operating on the beach during the demobilization of the pipeline and for several days thereafter.

Demobilization of all equipment and vessel should be complete by Wednesday, May 25.
