USACE, Ryba busy in Maumee Bay

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, along with Ryba Marine Construction Company is in Toledo, Ohio, in the Maumee Bay, performing maintenance dredging.

This work includes deepening of the shipping channel to provide ease of navigation and safe passage to larger vessels that utilize the waterways carrying products vital to the economy.

Once complete, they will have moved 800,000 yards of dredged material from the channel and into the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority’s Confined Disposal Facility (CDF).
