Royal IHC announced yesterday that the first of a series of four electrically powered dredgers for Vale has been commissioned.
The dredgers will be operating in the Projeto Gelado where they are reprocessing iron ore tailings.
Given the conditions in Brazil, and those of the Gelado dam, the CSD’s are a perfect solution, said Royal IHC.
The rest of the customized CSD’s will be commissioned in the months to come, on time and ready for use.
