Sammut Marine has been contracted for a maintenance dredging task at the Marina Di Ragusa in Sicily.
The main goal of this very important program is to allow larger vessels to enter and leave the marina.
The works are being carried out by Sammut Marine’s crane barge Gold Dredger .
Dredging operations will involve removal of sand and silt to an area over 650m away from the dredging zone.
The job started earlier this year, and the project is now in its final phase.
