Egmont Bay harbour had the most damage during Hurricane Fiona, said Bobby Morrissey, Member of Parliament for the Federal Riding of Egmont.

At the moment, temporary repairs – including a major dredging of the harbour channel prior to the opening of the LFA25 fishing season – are moving forward.

“Rene, Paul and Terry of the Harbour Authority met with me to review the work and discuss their priorities for the reconstruction work required to protect the harbour and fishing fleet from future hurricane force storms,” said Morrissey.
