The boat ramp and marina is closed during dredging but open for boaters in the evening, HPR said.
Project completion will depend on weather and complications.
Last year, HPR purchased a dredge that will be used to vacuum up unwanted sediment and debris, which will then be pumped to a pit south of the marina.
The sediment will become fill soil that can be recycled throughout the park system.
