Weeks Marine commenced maintenance dredging the Cape Cod Canal and sand pumping operations in Sandwich in mid-October.
During the works, crews dredged and placed placed around 100,000 cubic yards of beneficial sand to the severely eroded dunes of the Town Neck Beach.
In the coming weeks dune grass will be planted and protective fencing will be installed to help the grass take hold for the Summer 2024 season.
