Another Damen cutter suction dredger CSD650 was launched at the Damen Dredging Equipment yard in Nijkerk this morning.
It is a standard CSD650, built according to Damen’s ‘standard dredgers in stock’ policy.
Made for mining operations, capital dredging projects and maintenance dredging, the well-powered dredger can operate all its functions simultaneously, said Damen.
The robust dredger comes with a Bureau Veritas Coastal Certification and is fully dismountable for practical transport.
In the coming days, the assembly will be finished – followed by testing and commissioning.
