Parks Victoria has advised mariners that it will be undertaking maintenance dredging works within the access channel to Tankerton Jetty.
The project is part of Parks Victoria’s ongoing dredging program to ensure the continuation of safe boating access within Port Phillip and Western Port.
This dredging campaign will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material will be transported via floating pipeline and deposited in deep water 200m south of the access channel.
During the works, the Tankerton Jetty access channel will remain open for traffic.
