Filia Dredging has completed the Port of Ventspils 2024 maintenance dredging campaign in Latvia.
“ Immediately after the contract was concluded, our TSHD Willem Sr was mobilized after which it spent the last month dredging silt in the waterways in the port, along quays, and in waterways on the River Venta ,” the company said. “Thanks to the excellent commitment of the team, an efficient dredger, and short communication with the client, the work was completed well ahead of schedule.”
The ice-free Port of Ventspils has the largest and most technologically advanced crude oil terminal in the Baltic states and can accommodate Panamax-size vessels.
