The Dutra Group is conducting maintenance dredging at Pier 35 for the Port of San Francisco.
Originally built in 1916, the pier is one of two cruise ship terminals in the port, and home to the historic Liberty ship SS Jeremiah O’Brien. The dredged sediment, which is collected by Dutra’s Derrick Barge 24, is taken to the Montezuma Wetlands and offloaded using the Liberty Offloader for beneficial reuse.
