Early this week, Weeks Marine of Covington, Louisiana, secured two dredging contracts worth over $68 million.
The first contract, in the amount of $36.1 million, was awarded by the Army Corps’ Baltimore District for harbor and channels maintenance dredging works in Virginia.
The dredging will be performed in the Lower Chesapeake Bay with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2025.
The second contract, in the amount of $32.2 million, was awarded by the Corps’ New York District for inlet dredging works.
Dredging works will be performed in Bay Shore, New York, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2025.
