Mud Cat just commissioned two new Mud Cat 40E electric remote-control dredges at a water treatment plant in Southeast Asia.
“ The Mud Cat E-Series electric remote-control dredges are known globally for their reliability, ease of operation and maintenance, and ability to cut an even bottom profile using its horizontal cutter which is significantly more efficient than hanging a submersible pump into a column of material and dragging it across a lagoon ,” the company said.
This E-Series auger dredge comes in five standard models and can be customized for specific applications.
Also, the system can be equipped with a PLC (programmable logic controller) to provide automation at industrial or wastewater facilities.
